GM Hy-Wire “Car of the Future”
Ok, there’s only one prototype – worth $10M… Thanks Mario! It’s a really lovely, simple, brilliant electric car that runs on hydrogen (emits steam). You can change the body style in 15 minutes or make it a left-drive car for the UK in 2 min… no pedals – just a wheel.
There are no mechanical linkages between the chassis and the driving cage, enabling the car shell to be removed within 15 minutes. Introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 2002, General Motors hoped to have this “Car of the Future” in production by the year 2010. Wiki Hmmm hoping that means within 5 yrs…
