Very exciting… We will go to Mars in my lifetime… 20 years ago, I wouldn’t have believed it possible… Elon Musk has a dream, and the ambition, talent, funding and dedication to see it thru! Falcon Heavy is the kind of rocket (with extra payload) that could make it.
On February 6, a rocket the size of a 20-story building, containing 27 engines and a cherry-red Tesla Roadster as its payload, lifted off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida – the maiden flight of Space X’s Falcon Heavy, the most powerful rocket to launch in 45 years, since NASA’s Saturn V, which last flew in 1973.
