PHONE APP: “Moves” activity app – automatically records every step

This is a really well designed pedometer!  You turn it on once and it stays on, tracking your every step / mile / calorie every day!  Other apps require that you start and stop, and they get confused if you drive.  But MOVES somehow knows whether you are walking or driving, and keeps track of every where you go, all day long.   NOTE:  If you turn off your phone or the battery dies – you will need to reactivate Moves.

Features

Moves automatically records any walking, cycling, andrunning you do. You can view the distance, duration, steps, and calories* burned for each activity. The activity tracker is always on, so there’s no need to start and stop it. Just keep your phone in your pocket or your bag.

Battery use

Background tracking does consume battery power, sonightly charging is recommended. With typical phone use, a smartphone running Moves should have enough battery power to last all day.

Storyline

Moves is an automatic diary of your life. Your daily storyline and maps show where, when, and how much you move.

Step counter

Moves is a free iPhone pedometer that helps you get fit by walking more. See how many steps you take and aim for a healthy exercise goal of 10,000 steps a day.

Calorie counter*

Moves calculates calorie burn for your activities. You can also view your daily idle calorie burn.

What’s the benefit?

Seeing your everyday exercise helps you think about your life in a new way. Start with small changes that can lead to healthy habits and losing weight naturally.

More features and integrations*

Our partners and developer friends have created extra features and integrated Moves with other apps. The best of these are listed in the Connected Apps catalogue.
