A French stroller called the Yoyo makes it easier to bring along bébé. Available in the U.S. as of this month, the Yoyo is built for travel—lightweight, narrow enough to roll down an airplane aisle and folds to such petite dimensions that you can tuck it into an overhead compartment. But unlike many other collapsible buggies, it also functions beautifully—the Yoyo can be unfurled and steered with one hand, and the sturdy construction and four-wheel suspension make for smooth rides on bumpy sidewalks. Five French fathers started its parent company, Babyzen, in 2009 because they were frustrated with the lack of high-quality options on the market. “We designed the Yoyo with the goal of reclaiming some of the freedom of life before kids,” said CEO Julien Chaudeurge, who has two children, 12 and 9 years old. The stroller accommodates kids up to 33 pounds, but weighs less than 13 pounds and folds down to about 20 by 17 by 7 inches. A sunshade, umbrella and other accessories are also available. From $399,
